Riddell Law, PLLC is a boutique law firm based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, working exclusively in the areas of estate planning, elder law, probate, trusts and uncontested guardianship.

Our goal is to provide peace of mind, compassionate counsel and financial security to our clients, empowering them to make informed decisions about the future and ensure their legacies are managed according to their wishes.

Joy Riddell

Joy began her legal career as a tax attorney with a large Boston accountants. After moving to New Hampshire to join a leading local law firm, she went on to hone her craft with some of the state’s premier boutique estate planning law firms.

In the spring of 2018, Joy embraced the New Hampshire entrepreneurial spirit, opening Riddell Law, PLLC from the office in Portsmouth.

Working with clients of all ages, she leads our team, crafting long term, comprehensive estate plans to achieve their estate planning goals. Where necessary, Joy advocates a multidisciplinary approach, often collaborating with client advisors to resolve complex cases involving business, special needs, trusts and blended family issues.

A strong tax background, coupled with 20 years’ experience in estate planning and probate and trust administration, makes Joy uniquely qualified in these areas of the law.
