Riddell Law, PLLC is a boutique law firm based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, working exclusively in the areas of estate planning, elder law, probate, trusts and uncontested guardianship.
Our goal is to provide peace of mind, compassionate counsel and financial security to our clients, empowering them to make informed decisions about the future and ensure their legacies are managed according to their wishes.
Joy began her legal career as a tax attorney with a large Boston accountants. After moving to New Hampshire to join a leading local law firm, she went on to hone her craft with some of the state’s premier boutique estate planning law firms.
In the spring of 2018, Joy embraced the New Hampshire entrepreneurial spirit, opening Riddell Law, PLLC from the office in Portsmouth.
Working with clients of all ages, she leads our team, crafting long term, comprehensive estate plans to achieve their estate planning goals. Where necessary, Joy advocates a multidisciplinary approach, often collaborating with client advisors to resolve complex cases involving business, special needs, trusts and blended family issues.
A strong tax background, coupled with 20 years’ experience in estate planning and probate and trust administration, makes Joy uniquely qualified in these areas of the law.
Stacey Shaheen Bellabona
Stacey’s entry to a legal career was as a law clerk working for the New Hampshire Supreme Court. That quickly led to a position with the law firm of Shaheen and Gordon, where she practiced for over a decade, focusing primarily on family law, guardianships, prenuptial agreements and estate planning.
During this stage of her career, Stacey successfully won a series of landmark cases before the New Hampshire Supreme Court. These cases secured important rights for individuals filing parenting petitions and overturned a prenuptial agreement with assets in excess of 40 million dollars.
In addition to her work as an attorney, Stacey has a strong commitment to the community and a passion for philanthropy, which lead her to establish her own practice focusing on family services; philanthropic advice at a local, national and international level; estate and succession planning; and family law.
Stacey has worked with clients and donors to facilitate multimillion-dollar grants to charities and has traveled widely in developing nations to partake in voluntary work. She is currently involved in fundraising for a wide variety of nonprofit organizations and formerly served as a trustee for a private foundation, with assets totaling over $100 million.
Working as counsel at Riddell Law, PLLC, Stacy utilizes her unique family law and philanthropic experience to assist traditional and nontraditional families achieve their estate planning, succession and asset protection goals.
